Who We Are
Kroot Private Investigations is owned by Tracey Kroot, a licensed private investigator who has 30 years of investigations experience, including 18 years as a Senior Criminal Investigator with Santa Clara County’s District Attorney’s Office, ten years working as a Team Leader, with many ancillary assignments such as department trainer, extraditions and arrest team member. She has investigated cases from the inception of a complaint or accusation through to the trial process. She has been trained in using the Component Method of Investigations, a system of accepted and proven investigative procedures designed to uncover leads and develop questions with each component lead. The result is an investigation which can be relied upon with confidence. Ms. Kroot has worked as an undercover operative and was also a Corporate Investigator with Advanced Micro Devices.
Ms. Kroot is approved as a criminal defense investigator for the Santa Clara County Independent Defense Office.
Our team includes licensed and insured private investigators, registered process servers, background researchers (to include missing heirs and genealogy research by a trained researcher from the Boston University Genealogy Studies program), and a highly qualified intake specialist. We have a variety of associates available to assist with surveillance needs as well.
